"Started with $47. Building wealth one step at a time."

My Story

My name is David Asukwo. I am an accounting graduate of the University of Benin (UNIBEN), Edo State, Nigeria. Numbers have always fascinated me — not just as digits on a page, but as tools that can change lives when managed properly.

During my time at UNIBEN, I realized that financial literacy was not something we were taught in school. Many of my classmates, friends, and even family members were making good money but had no idea how to keep it, grow it, or make it work for them. That realization planted a seed.

After graduating, I decided to test everything I had learned — not with thousands of dollars, but with just $47. That was all I had to start. I wanted to prove that you don't need to be rich to build wealth. You just need knowledge, discipline, and the willingness to start where you are.

That $47 became the foundation of The WealthBlueprint — a blog dedicated to sharing practical, actionable financial advice for real people. No get-rich-quick schemes. No fake promises. Just what actually works, tested against reality.

My Mission

The WealthBlueprint exists for one reason: to give you practical, unbiased financial knowledge that you can actually use. No paywalls. No jargon. Just research-backed advice from someone who started exactly where you might be right now — with very little, but with big dreams.

I believe that anyone can build wealth if they have the right information and the discipline to act on it. It doesn't matter if you're starting with $47 or $47,000. What matters is that you start, that you stay consistent, and that you never stop learning.

Every article on this blog is written with one question in mind: "Will this help someone take action today?" If the answer is yes, I publish it. If not, I go back to the drawing board.

Why Trust Me?

I am not a billionaire. I am not a Wall Street guru. I am simply someone who has dedicated years to studying personal finance, accounting, and wealth-building strategies — and then testing them with my own money.

My accounting background from UNIBEN gives me a solid foundation in understanding how money works. My ongoing journey with ICAN ensures that I stay current with financial regulations and best practices. But most importantly, my real-world experience — starting with just $47 — means I understand the struggles, the doubts, and the small victories that come with building wealth from nothing.

I don't claim to have all the answers. But I promise to always be honest, transparent, and committed to helping you make better financial decisions.

Faith, Service & Community

Beyond finance, my life is rooted in faith and service to others. As the Vice President of the Royal Ambassadors of Nigeria and Youth Secretary of New Covenant Baptist Church, I have learned that true wealth is not just about money — it is about impact, integrity, and lifting others as you rise. These values guide everything I do, including The WealthBlueprint.
